Today I'm finally finishing off my alphabet themed lunch series! I'm sharing the last two letter's together, so today's letters are Y and Z. The alphabet letters seemed to get progressively more difficult to theme lunches on as I went along - A was certainly easier than Z, but I made it in the end!
In his Y themed lunch, Small Child had rice cakes, decorated with a Yellow silicone divider, rolls of ham, decorated with Yellow polka dot picks and a Yoda cupcake ring, Yellow pepper, decorated with a Yellow crayon pick, dried apricots and some Bear Yoyos, decorated with Y alphabet picks and a Yellow flower pick, some natural Yoghurt, decorated with Yellow smiley face sprinkles, and a treat of a few Yellow jelly sweets. Our Y lunch had to be packed in our Yumbox of course!
In his Z themed lunch Small Child had grated Zucchini, carrot and cheddar cheese omelette cakes (I adapted my rainbow omelette cake recipe for these) - we do normally call them courgettes but for alphabet lunch purposes, that day they were Zucchini! On the side he had some pretzel sticks and an Organix carrot oaty bar, decorated with Z alphabet picks and a Zebra cupcake pick, a Babybel cheese, with a Z cut from the wax to decorate, and strawberries and blueberries, decorated with a whole Zoo of animal food picks! This lunch was packed in our Addis food container.
I can't believe I've finally finished the alphabet! I may have to put together a round-up post so that I can see them all together, but otherwise, that's it for the alphabet lunch series! To see the full series of alphabet lunches click here.
