Winnie The Pooh Bento Lunch

Winnie The Pooh bento lunch - fun and healthy food for kids from Eats Amazing UK

Today I’m sharing a simple but fun Winnie The Pooh bento lunch.  Small Child is still on his Easter holidays at the moment, so no packed lunches for us this week, but I found this one in my archives and thought you might enjoy it!  I’ve really loved having Small Child around for the last few weeks, and will be very sad to see him go back to school on Monday. Today I’m also restarting #FunFoodFriday  after a couple of weeks off over the holiday.  As usual in my #FunFoodFriday posts, this post contains my Friday linky.  If you’ve written any foodie posts, whether it be children’s meals, creative cakes, lovely … Continue reading

Solar Eclipse Bento - fun way for kids to learn about the solar eclipse through food - from Eats Amazing UK

Good morning, and welcome to another #FunFoodFriday! Today has been a very exciting day so far due to an amazing solar eclipse that took place in our part of the world this morning.  Very sadly for us we had heavy cloud cover in our area so we couldn’t see a thing, but I know that a lot of people had better luck elsewhere in the UK so hopefully lots of you saw the eclipse.  Small Child has been learning all about it school so for today’s packed lunch I made him a special solar eclipse bento to celebrate! As I … Continue reading

Captain America Bento Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Captain America Bento Lunch with simple Captain America shield sandwich - healthy food ideas for kids from Eats Amazing UK

After making Small Child a fun Spiderman bento lunch recently, I was inspired to try out another superhero theme, resulting in the simple Captain America bento lunch that I’m sharing with you today.  I have to say I that although this lunch is really simple, I was SO pleased with how Captain America’s shield sandwich turned out! It only took a minute or two to make and both Small Child and Daddy were quite taken with it (Small Baby was unimpressed however, he was too preoccupied with trying to get his hands on the leftover crusts!). Today is also #FunFoodFriday, so as usual, this post contains my Friday linky.  If you’ve written any foodie posts, … Continue reading

Pancake Muffins for Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Fun Kids Bento Lunch for Pancake Day - Healthy Pancake Muffins School Lunch from Eats Amazing UK

Following on from yesterday’s healthy pancake muffins recipe, today I’m sharing a bento lunch that I packed for Small Child recently using the pancake muffins.  I think it would make a really fun packed lunch idea for pancake day, which is why I’m sharing it today, as pancake day is fast looming – it’s next Tuesday. The lunch itself is quite simple, including some hearts as a nod to tomorrow’s Valentines day too, but I thought the idea of pancake muffins for lunch was a fun one! Today is also #FunFoodFriday, so as usual, this post contains my Friday linky.  If you’ve written any foodie posts, whether it be children’s meals, creative cakes, … Continue reading

Spiderman themed bento lunch idea from Eats Amazing UK - making healthy food fun for kids

Good morning, and happy Friday to you all! Today I’m sharing a healthy Spiderman themed bento lunch that I made recently.  I themed this lunch by using red and blue foods and accessories, and by adding spiderman themed cupcake rings – simple but effective!  It was a really quick and easy lunch to make, but the Spiderman theme meant that it was a big hit with Small Child. Today is also #FunFoodFriday, so as usual, this post contains my Friday linky.  If you’ve written any foodie posts, whether it be children’s meals, creative cakes, lovely lunches or a delicious recipe you’ve blogged, do feel free to join in and add your link at the bottom … Continue reading

Lego Star Wars Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Lego Star Wars Themed Food - Fun and healthy kids bento lunch from Eats Amazing UK

In today’s post I’m sharing a Lego Star Wars Lunch that I made recently, which is one of Small Child’s favourite lunches to date.  It was fun to make and I was really pleased with how it turned out too. This week has gone far to quickly, and I must admit to feeling all confused about which day of the week it is because Small Child has a day off school today (sadly no snow here, just an inset day!). I intend to thoroughly enjoy our 3 day weekend, hopefully with lots of lovely quality time with my boys. I’ve checked and assured … Continue reading

Pacman Bento Lunch & #FunFoodFriday

Simple Pacman Themed Kids Bento Lunch - Retro Fun from Eats Amazing UK

This week has flown past, how did it get to #FunFoodFriday so quickly?! Today for my fun food I’m sharing a really simple Pacman themed lunch, this was such fun to make and the retro feel brought me straight back to childhood (my goodness, that sentence made me feel old!).  After making this lunch I then spent rather too much time playing Pacman via Google with Small Child (if the link doesn’t work try typing Pacman into Google) who loved it, though he got rather frustrated whenever he got eaten by one of the ghosties! Anyway, back to lunch, I was … Continue reading
