Grape and Tomato Hearts
- baby plum tomatoes
- red seedless grapes
- cocktail sticks, bento picks or bamboo skewers
Wash and gently dry your tomatoes and grapes.
With a sharp knife, cut a tomato in half on the diagonal. Flip one half of the tomato over and push the two cut edges together to form a heart.
Use a cocktail stick or bento pick to pin the two halves together. Repeat with a grape.
To make the skewers, repeat as above but thread onto bamboo skewers, alternating between tomatoes and grapes.
Be sure to warn your children to remove the skewers before eating!
