Hi, I’m Grace, welcome to my blog! Here at Eats Amazing I share ideas and inspiration for making fun, creative, and above all, healthy, children’s food, with a particular focus on the bento style lunches I pack daily for my son. I try to show how easy it can be to present healthy food in new and interesting ways, and hope to inspire others to get creative with their food too. I also try to be eco-friendly in my approach to buying and creating food, using minimal packaging and reducing waste wherever possible. As well as sharing ideas and information about packing lunches, I also love to create and share fun food for toddlers, easy recipes for children and family friendly recipes for all occasions.
A year or so after I first started writing the Eats Amazing blog, I took a deep breath and opened the online Eats Amazing UK Bento Shop, bringing to the UK all the fun bento accessories and bento lunch boxes that I love to use myself when creating my son’s bento lunches. The shop has gone from strength to strength and is now full to the brim of exciting and unusual gadgets and accessories designed to make even the healthiest of foods fun and exciting – from animal shaped boiled eggs to carrot reindeers and dinosaur sandwiches, you never know what you’re going to find there, so do pop on over and have a look!
Some of my best work to date includes creative sandwich ideas, fun bento lunches, cute plates of food art, healthy lunch box food ideas, colourful muffin tin meals and a spot of cake decorating, as seen in my photos below.
I first created the Eats Amazing blog in 2012, and never dreamt it would grow like it has. I was a finalist in the 2014 MAD Blog Awards and in the same year I experienced a slightly crazy burst of publicity with my bento lunches being featured in newspapers and TV shows all over the world! My blog has gone from being a fun hobby to my job, and these days my love of blogging and social media is second only to my love of beautiful food and photography (excepting my little family, of course, they are right at the top of the pile!). I live in Hampshire with my lovely multi-talented husband, two beautiful boys and a very large pile of lunch boxes!
I spend far too much of my time on social media, so if I’m not creating new recipes, working here on the blog or packing up parcels full of bento goodies then you’ll probably find me on my Facebook page, in the Eats Amazing Lunch Packing Community Group, or on Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest – do come on over and join me!
